Editing booking details

Change a booking's title or add notes for staff.

Once a booking exists, its title and notes can be changed from the booking detail page. Notes are staff-only and a useful place to record special instructions, access requirements, or a quick reminder for whoever ends up delivering the service.

Steps

  1. Open the booking

Navigate to the booking from the Bookings list, Dashboard, or Calendar.

  2. Open the Edit sheet

Tap Edit in the top-right action bar. The Update Booking Details sheet opens.

  3. Make your changes
    • Appointment Title — required; shown on the booking detail page, the Calendar, and the run sheet
    • Notes — optional; free-form text for anything staff should see when they open the booking
  4. Save

Tap Update Booking. The changes apply immediately.

What notes are for

Notes are visible to staff on the booking detail page and in the printed run sheet. They're not visible to the customer — the customer never sees this field on their registration link, email confirmations, or kiosk forms.

Good things to put in notes:

  • Mobility or access requirements ("uses a walking frame")
  • Clinical context the pharmacist needs before the service ("bring CVCP consent form")
  • Follow-ups linked to a prior visit ("second dose, first was 2026-03-14")

Customer-wide context that isn't specific to this booking belongs on the customer's profile, not the booking — see Adding a customer note.

What this sheet doesn't change

To move a booking to a different time, use rescheduling. To add, swap, or remove services on the booking, see Managing services on a booking. To change the customer or resource, delete the booking and create a new one — those remain booking-defining fields.
