Two new consults, and emailing documents.
A Hormonal Contraception Resupply / Continuation consult for ACT, NSW, SA and WA, a General Consult for services that don't have their own form, and emailing documents straight from Light.
Two new consults this release, and you can now email documents straight from Light.
Email documents straight from Light. Wherever you print a document, there's now an email option beside it. Send it to the customer or to someone else, add a subject and message if you like, and the recipient gets a branded email with the PDF attached. The send is recorded on the customer's timeline.

Print without downloading first. For most services, you'll be able to print a document without downloading it first. Printing now opens your browser's print dialog directly, ready to go.
Early release. The consults below are rolling out to sites progressively, so they may not be available in your pharmacy yet. To find out more or request access, speak to your Head Office.
Hormonal Contraception – Resupply / Continuation
Record a hormonal contraception resupply or continuation, guided by the protocol that applies in your jurisdiction. Supported in the ACT, NSW, SA and WA, each with its own medicines, eligibility, contraindications and reference material – oral contraception resupply is covered throughout, and some states also allow the vaginal ring and DMPA.
Start from the patient's current medicine, work through the consult, and record the outcome. Work through it step by step as a wizard, or as a single continuous scroll. Any referral you make during the consult is added to the patient's referral list, where you can see and manage it.

General Consult
Record a pharmacy service that doesn't have its own form – an asthma consult, for example. Select the reason for the consult, then record it as a structured SOAP note or a narrative free-form note. The reason is captured for reporting.

Also improved
Dispense history remembers your range, and defaults to 12 months. The dispense history panel now keeps the range you last chose instead of reverting, and defaults to 12 months (was 6) – so longer-interval medicines like Prolia show up without changing the range.
