How-to

Working with a service

Navigate the service detail page — forms, notes, files, activity, and claims.

The service detail page is the hub for everything about a single delivery of a service — the forms attached to it, any claim, notes, files, and activity history.

Getting here

  • From the customer profile's Customer Services section
  • From the Services list
  • From the booking detail page's Resources tab

The layout

  • Top bar — service name, back link, and the Record Encounter button (when encounter-phase forms are attached)
  • Action bar — the bin icon deletes the service, see Deleting a service
  • Tabs — Overview, Notes, Files, Activity
  • Overview — forms card (grouped by phase) and claims card
  • Sidebar — service status, pinned notes, customer contact details, booking reference

Forms

Forms on a service are grouped into three phases:

  • Intake — before the service. Consent, pre-screening, eligibility.
  • Encounter — during the service. The main record of what was done (vaccine product, batch, route, observations).
  • Post-encounter — after the service. Outcome reports, follow-up questionnaires.

Each form shows a status icon (empty, draft, errors, submitted) and a progress bar. Tap a form to expand it inline and complete it — or tap Record Encounter to open the full-screen encounter interface.

The Record Encounter button

Record Encounter takes you to a full-screen workspace optimised for filling multi-section forms. Intake and Encounter phase forms are loaded there side-by-side; post-encounter forms stay on this detail page.

See Completing an encounter.

Claims

If the service is eligible for a claim (CVCP, NIPVIP, PPA program), the Claims card shows the claim status and any submission errors. Claim management itself happens on the Claims page.

Notes, files, activity

  • Notes — observations specific to this service delivery (distinct from customer-level notes)
  • Files — documents specific to this service (distinct from the customer's general files)
  • Activity — audit log of form submissions, status changes, and claim events

For notes and files that belong to the customer in general rather than this specific service, use the Customer Profile instead.
