Setting up the public booking page
Turn on direct online bookings for customers and control the URL, notifications, and what you collect.
The public booking page lets customers book your pharmacy's offerings directly — without phoning or walking in. It's at a URL you control (<site>/book/<your-slug>), and any offering marked Public in its visibility settings appears on it.
Steps
- Open Public Bookings Page settings
Go to Settings and find the Public Bookings Page card. Tap Edit to open the settings sheet.
- Enable the page
Turn Enable Public Bookings Page on. If your pharmacy is part of a group listed on a shared bookings portal, enabling this also lists you there.
Some accounts have this setting locked — you'll see a lock indicator with a note to contact support. That's usually set up during onboarding.
- Pick your Booking URL slug
The slug is the kebab-case tail of your public URL — lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. Light checks availability as you type and shows a green tick when the slug is free. The full URL preview under the field updates live.
Changing the slug breaks any previously-shared links to your old URL, so pick deliberately.
- Decide on Email Notifications
Turn Receive Email Notifications on to get emails for new bookings, reschedules, and cancellations that come in via the public page.
When notifications are on, choose Send notifications to:
- Store email — the address set in your site profile
- All users — every team member gets the emails
- Custom email list — paste one or more addresses (comma-separated) into the textarea that appears
- Choose what customers must provide
The Require Customer Address toggle controls whether the public booking form asks for an address. Turn it on for services that need address data (home visits, deliveries, some funded programs); leave it off to keep the form shorter.
- Save
Tap Save to apply. The booking page is live immediately.
Sharing the page
Once active, the Public Bookings Page card on Settings shows the full Booking URL. Use the dropdown next to it to Open the page, Copy the URL, or get a QR code to print or share digitally.
What appears on the page
Offerings with Visibility: Public appear on the page for anyone to book. Unlisted offerings only appear to people with a direct link — useful for campaign or staff-triggered bookings. Private offerings don't appear at all. Set per-offering visibility on the offering's General tab.
Disabling the page
Turn Enable Public Bookings Page off and save. The URL stops serving the public page — existing bookings aren't affected, but new customers can't book via the link while it's off.
