Viewing immunisation history
Read and export a customer's AIR history and see what's due.
The Immunisations tab has two stacked cards — what's due and what's been given.
Due Vaccinations
"Due Vaccinations" shows what the Australian Immunisation Register recommends next for this customer, based on:
- Their age
- Their immunisation history so far
- Any indicators on their record (catch-up, special risk group, etc.)
Each row names the disease, the recommended dose, and when it's due. To give a due vaccination, open the row menu and start the encounter. The antigen and dose are pre-filled — see Recording a vaccination.
Immunisation History
Shows the full AIR history: every vaccination on record, ordered newest first. Each row names the vaccine, the dose, route of administration, and funding program (NIP, CVCP, private, and so on).
The row menu on each entry has options for amending or viewing the underlying AIR record.
Exporting and sending statements
Above the history table, the dropdown next to Add has:
- View Immunisation History Statement — opens a PDF of the customer's AIR history
- Send Immunisation History Statement — sends the PDF to the customer's email
Use the statement when a customer needs proof of vaccination — travel, childcare enrolment, employment requirements.
When history looks wrong
- Missing vaccination. If it was given here recently, AIR may not have processed the submission yet. Wait a few minutes and refresh. If it stays missing, check the encounter's AIR status.
- Vaccination given elsewhere. If another provider submitted it, it will appear here — but only after AIR has processed their submission.
- Identity mismatch. If AIR can't match the customer to a record, the history shows nothing. Check Medicare and date of birth are correct on the profile, then reload.
