Finding a customer
Search, sort, and navigate to a customer record.
The Customers page lists every customer at your site. For a busy pharmacy that gets long fast — search and sort are how you find someone quickly.
Searching
Tap the search icon to open the search field. It matches against:
- Name
- Phone number
- Date of birth
The list filters as you type. Paste a Medicare number or phone number directly — no formatting required.
Sorting
Tap any column heading to sort. Useful defaults:
- Last Accessed — the customers you've opened most recently
- Date of Birth — to find a customer you only remember by age
- Customer — alphabetical by last name
Sort direction flips on a second tap.
Row actions
Each row's menu (the three-dot icon) offers:
- View — opens the customer profile
- Delete — opens the delete dialog (see Deleting a customer)
Can't find them?
- Check the customer isn't filed under a different surname (partner's surname, hyphenated, or old legal name)
- Try their phone number — it's more reliable than name spelling
- A customer created on a booking but never opened might not have been accessed yet — search by name rather than sorting by Last Accessed
- Customers are never silently deduplicated. If you suspect two records for the same person, confirm both are theirs and delete the newer one
