COVID-19 CVCP Program claiming via PPA now available. Manage your default vaccine list in AIR settings. Plus vaccination encounter improvements including automatic filtering, eligibility warnings, and dynamic required fields.
COVID-19 (CVCP) Program claiming
CVCP claims now flow through Light alongside your other PPA submissions. After recording a COVID-19 vaccination encounter, Light evaluates whether a CVCP claim can be made and prepares it for submission — you review and declare.
When you select a COVID-19 vaccine such as Comirnaty LP.8.1, the funding type populates as Other and the claim is evaluated on completion.
COVID-19 encounters recorded before this release are not automatically resubmitted for PPA claiming. We're building a reevaluation tool to handle this — we'll let you know when it's ready.
Manage your default vaccine list
The vaccine list from AIR is long. Configure which vaccines your pharmacy actually stocks and only those appear when recording an encounter — fewer scrolls, fewer mis-selections.
Set this up at Settings›Integrations›AIR.
Improvements across vaccination encounters
Default vaccine management. Configure which vaccines your site stocks so only relevant vaccines appear when recording.
Automatic vaccine filtering. Only vaccines valid for the selected date are shown.
Eligibility warnings. Alerts when a patient's age falls outside the recommended range for a selected vaccine.
Dynamic required fields. Batch and route fields become mandatory based on the selected vaccine.
Accept and confirm workflow. Review and resubmit pended encounters without having to re-enter the encounter form.
